A 19-year-old student of Sito Grammar School has been killed in a bloody clash between suspected rival cult groups at the Seme border axis, near Badagry, Lagos state.
The deceased named Lateef Agboola was said to have been cornered by the cultists who had been monitoring his movements and macheted several times before being shot at close range last Friday, at about 8 pm while running errands for his mother.
It was gathered that Agboola allegedly belonged to Eiye Confraternity and was killed in a reprisal attack between the suspected rival cultists; Eiye and Aiye Confraternities.
Agboola’s death led to the killing of one Umar Isah and the subsequent arrest of another Adam Sule-Ayeni, a member of Aiye Confraternity who was suspected to have masterminded the killing of Isah.
