Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta has successfully passed the accreditation exercise conducted by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). This is contained in a letter addressed to the Provost and signed by the Board’s Director Department of Monotechnic Programs, Malam Sama’ila Tanko.
The statement stated that following the NBTE accreditation visitation conducted at the College between 2nd and 5th June, 2022 the Board has granted full accreditation to the College for the period of five years with effect from 1st October, 2022. The courses accredited include among others:-
HND Agricultural Extension and Management, ND Agricultural and Bio Environmental Engineering Technology, ND Computer Science, ND Fisheries Technology and ND Horticultural Technology
The statement further read that the Board has also granted approval to the College to offer the following new courses with effect from 2022/2023 academic session. These are:-
HND Soil Science and Land Resources Management Technology, HND Agribusiness Management, HND Horticultural Technology, HND Computer Science and ND Home and Rural Economics
In his remarks shortly after the receipt of the letter, the Provost Prof. Muhammad Wailare expressed gratitude to Allah and appreciated the magnanimity of the state governor and the Visitor to the College His Excellency Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, OFR for all the timely support. He also, thanked the Honorable Commissioner for Higher Education Dr. Mariya Mahmud Bunkure for her kind intervention, the management, staff and students Audu Bako College of Agriculture for their unflinching support throughout the period of the exercise which contributed greatly towards achieving this feat. The Provost, finally enjoined the general public to avail themselves of the opportunity especially as the College commences the sale of online admission form for the 2022/2023 academic session.
