By now, candidates eligible for the 2023 mock exam must have known that the exam is set for Thursday March 30th, 2023. Whether or not you are taking the mock exam, we advise that you download the JAMB CBT Mobile App for 2023 UTME and/or 2023 JAMB CBT Computer Software from SchoolGist. It will help you to equally prepare yourself and get ready for the main exam which is the reason for the JAMB Mock.
Nevertheless, if you are among those that will be writing the exam, please do take it seriously as you may likely pick one or two things that will help you and other candidates in the main examination.
Also, do not forget that other candidates that won’t be participating in the exam are depending on you for updates and relevant information concerning the conduct of the mock exam. So please take note of everything that is happening in your centre and keep us updated.
We will create a LIVE UPDATES post on that day, so you can let us know anything that is happening in your centre.
MOCK EXPERIENCE AND QUESTION COMPILATION CONTEST ALERT: N50,000 TO BE WON
At SchoolGist, we’re known for always coming up with contests to give back to our awesome students. So for candidates that will be participating in the mock, this contest is for you. We will be giving out N50,000.
N25,000 will be given to the 5 best-composed mock experiences and 25,000 to the 5 best-compiled sets of questions. The amount shared N5000 each to the winners in the two categories
On the day of the mock, we will create two posts; “JAMB Mock Experience”, and “JAMB mock exam questions”, which will be posted on this website around 3 – 4 pm, after we believe most candidates would be done with the exams. Candidates are to SEPARATELY provide their experiences and compilation of questions from the mock as comments on each post as appropriate. This means a brilliant candidate that follows instructions can actually win in both categories on the same day.
Winners will be announced by Monday 3rd April 2023. To be one of the winners you only have to provide a well detailed personal experience as well as a well-compiled set of questions from the UTME mock. More instructions will be provided when we publish the posts.
PLEASE NOTE: All candidates sitting for the 2023 Mock examination scheduled for Thursday March 30th, 2023 are advised to go to their assigned centres at least 1 hour before their scheduled time.
While in the hall, please take note of everything you experience;
1. Check if there are actually CCTV Cameras
2. Check if there is any special feature(s) on the computer systems
3. When you login to take an exam, check how the CBT environment is laid out.
4. Take note of some of the features of the interface like; the location of the time, subject and exam navigation e.t.c.
5. Check if there is provision for the use of both Keyboard and Mouse
6. Check the time given for the exam
7. Check the number of questions given.
8. Finally, check if there is anything remarkable with the whole set up and process.
If you are going to the exam with a phone or any electronic gadget, you may not be allowed to go into the hall with it. You may have to keep them somewhere safe outside the hall to avoid being punished or disqualified.
Lastly, do not forget to come back to SchoolGist to share your experiences and questions to win prizes. Like we said earlier, there will be a post for that after the mock exam.
All the best!
