MAUTECH Academic Calendar:
MAUTECH academic calendar has been released by the school authorities for the 2022/2023 academic session. MAUTECH undergraduate resumption has also been announced.
The University Community are hereby informed that the management of the Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH) has considered and approved the revised academic for the first semester and second semester, 2022/2023 academic session.
2022/2023 Academic Calendar of Events
FIRST SEMESTER 2022/2023 SESSION 100 to 500 Level Students
- Registration: All students are expected to complete their registration process between 16th January and 29th January 2023.
- Late Registration: Students who miss the initial registration period can still register between 30th January and 12th February 2023. However, late registration may incur additional fees.
- Lectures: The first semester lectures will begin on 30th January and continue until 21st February 2023.
- Election Break: There will be an election break from 22nd February to 19th March 2023. Lectures will resume after the break and continue from 20th March to 1st June 2023.
- Examinations: First semester examinations will take place over a two-week period, from 5th June to 24th June 2023.
- Inter-Semester Break: Students will enjoy a one-week break between the two semesters, from 26th June to 2nd July 2023.
SECOND SEMESTER 2022/2023 SESSION
- Lectures: The second semester lectures will commence on 3rd July and run until 7th October 2023.
- Examinations: Second semester examinations are scheduled for a three-week period, from 9th October to 21st October 2023.
- Marking & Project Defence: The marking of exams and project defence will occur between 30th October and 11th November 2023.
- Sessional Break: A two-week sessional break will take place from 13th November to 26th November 2023 before the start of the 2023/2024 academic session.
- Resumption for 2023/2024 Session: The new academic session (2023/2024) is scheduled to begin on 27th November 2023.
Notes:
- The 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 academic sessions have been merged into a single session (2022/2023 session).
- Public holidays have been taken into consideration for the academic calendar.
