Trinity University has been granted full approval by the National Universities Commission (NUC) to run eight new programs in the institution. This was contained in a letter signed on behalf of Professor Abubakar Rasheed, Executive Secretary of the Commission by the Deputy Director of Programme Accreditation, S. S. Ikani.
A statement also signed by the university’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Charles Ayo, said the accreditation panel visited the campus in November and December 2022 to assess all eight additional programs that were presented to the NUC after which approval was granted after the school met all the required standards for the accreditation.
The VC further acknowledged the respective roles played by the Board of Trustees (BoT), management, staff, Students, and parents for the achievement so far.
The newly approved programs are; Nursing Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Political Science, International Relations, and Marketing.
