The management of the Gateway Industrial & Petro-Gas Institute (GIPI), Oni, Ogun State, has commenced the sale of post-UTME application forms for admission into its National Innovation Diploma (NID) programmes for the 2022/2023 academic session.
The National Innovation Diploma (NID) is a new programme created by the Federal Ministry of Education to address a deficiency in industry-specific skills. The curriculum caters to the needs of JAMB candidates who wish to ascend the professional ladder without abandoning their academic credentials.
Gateway Industrial & Petro-Gas Institute (GIPI) NID Courses
NBTE approved NID programs in:
- Welding & Fabrication Technology
- Computer Hardware Engineering Technology
- Networking & System Security
The duration of all the programmes listed above is 2 Years.

- Those who sat for the last UTME and score a minimum of 100
- Five (5) Credits passes at SSCE/GCE/NECO in Science Subjects in not more than two (2) Sittings.
- Candidates who did not choose GIPI as their First Choice can equally apply.
