A Senior Secondary three (SS3) student of Government Secondary School, Games Village, in the Bauchi metropolis has been arrested for allegedly stabbing two other students.
It was gathered that on Thursday, July 28, the students who are supporters of rival football clubs were arguing about which club was superior on the school premises when the argument degenerated into a fight. One of them was said to have brought out a knife and stabbed the other two students.
One of the students identified as Ibrahim Abdullahi was stabbed in the chest, while the other, Isamil Abubakar was stabbed in the thighs and they are currently receiving treatment for the injuries at the Federal Low-Cost Primary Healthcare Center.
The state’s police spokesman, Ahmed Wakili, who confirmed the incident identified the suspect as 18-year-old Usman Suleiman Jahun aka Jan Gashi, and two other unidentified accomplices who are currently at large.
