The newly admitted students of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) have been informed that the Freshers’ Orientation Programme, which was previously scheduled for this week, has been postponed until further notice. A new schedule will be communicated to them as soon as possible. The university apologizes for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the understanding of the affected students.
The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has announced the Freshers’ Orientation Programme and Schedule for the 2021/2022 academic session. This three-day event, organized by the Student Affairs Unit in conjunction with the Students’ Union, aims to welcome and guide newly admitted students from all 16 faculties.
The orientation program will take place at the University Auditorium, with different faculties scheduled to attend on different days. The first day is dedicated to students from the Faculties of Agriculture, Education, Engineering & Technology, Communication & Information Sciences, and Law. The second day focuses on students from the Faculties of Clinical Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences, Basic Clinical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine. The third and final day is for students from the Faculties of Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Physical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Arts.
To ensure full participation, the university has declared the scheduled days as lecture-free for the concerned faculties. All new students are required to attend the orientation program as it is an essential part of their integration into the university community.
