Again, the National Youth Service Corps has warned corps against posting unconfirmed news publications on social media
NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Mohammed Fadah gave the directives on Tuesday, June 21, while the 2022 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course in Asaya camp, Kogi State, was declared open.
The DG, represented by the Kogi State Coordinator of NYSC, Mrs. Mofoluwasho Adebimpe Williams, urged corps members to promote national unity and development and not fuel hatred or other negative vices.
She said;
“One of the objectives of NYSC is the promotion of national unity and integration. Hence, your deployment away from your States of origin and your assemblage here from diverse ethnic, religious and socio-economic backgrounds.
“This policy will not only offer you the opportunity for a broader understanding of the country, but also entrench the culture of working together in an atmosphere filled with friendship, peace, harmony, and a shared vision of a great and prosperous Nigeria.”
