The Osun State University, Osogbo, has secured the National University Commission (NUC) full accreditation for 26 undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the institution. The institution’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Clement Adebooye, made the disclosure while speaking on the recent achievements of the university.
Also, the university issued a statement by its Public Relations Officer, Ademola Adesoji, explaining that various teams had assessed the institution’s teaching and learning facilities, as well as, the available personnel for the respective academic programs both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
It listed some of the approved undergraduate programs as; Fisheries and Aquaculture, Wildlife Management, Food Science and Technology, Computer Science, Guidance and Counseling, Urban and Regional Planning, Medicine and Surgery, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Geology, and Mathematics.
Others include Microbiology, Physics with Electronics, Statistics, Public Health, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Economics, Geography, Political Science and International Relations, Banking, and Finance, among others.
