The management of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, has announced May 26, 2022, as the resumption date for academic activities in the institution, despite shutting down the institution over the ongoing strike by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
The university stated this in a circular released on Monday through its registrar, Ambrose E. Odiase.
The university’s management had on Monday, March 22 issued a statement asking students to vacate their hostels and the school premises within 24-hours over what it called described as “the roll-over national strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU)”.
