Multiple people including students of the Abia State University Uturu have been kidnapped by suspected herdsmen along Okigwe-Uturu Road.
The incident happened on Tuesday, May 17 and it is reported that the gunmen attacked a shuttle bus conveying the passengers and shot dead the driver.
This comes two days after seven students of Abia State University were also kidnapped along the same route around 6:pm on Sunday, May 15, while returning from school.
One of the identified victims of the Sunday incident has been identified as Emmanuel Nzubechukwu Ubani, a 200-level Business Administration student who hails from Umuakpor Ovungwo in Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Abia State.
