Two Senior Secondary School 3 (SS3) students have bagged 7-years imprisonment over the theft of a church piano in Lagos state. The convicts, Udochukwu Anyanwu and Udo Chibike (also known as Lasisi) were sentenced on March 30, following their arraignment at the Lagos High Court sitting at Tafawa Balewa Square, TBS.
The convicts were remanded in prison on January 19, 2017, following their arrest and later arraigned on 27 June 2018, on charges bordering on conspiracy to commit a felony, to rob, and robbery
The presiding judge, Justice Yetunde Adesanya sentenced the duo after they pleaded guilty to a plea bargain agreement and the term of their imprisonment will start from the first day they were remanded in prison on January 19, 2017.
