Two students of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, were among nine persons burnt to death in a road accident that happened on Sunday, February 20.
A coursemate of the deceased students Eemm Aanuel, identified the two students as Kofo and Seun. The students were reportedly returning home due to the recent industrial action embarked on by ASUU.
It was also alleged that the vehicle involved in the accident was traveling with fuel in its booth due to the lingering fuel scarcity in the country before it caught fire and burnt the occupants including a pregnant woman to death.
