The Lagos State University (LASU) through its official Twitter account has appealed to singer Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, popularly known as “Bella Shmurda” to return to the University where he had previously enrolled for the completion of his degree program.
The singer while celebrating his birthday, had tweeted that he dropped out of LASU because he failed some course, and was thankful for leaving school to pursue a career in music as he is now worth over half a billion streams.
Reacting to the tweet, the University said it was glad to have played a part in the singer’s success story, but urged him to return to class and complete his program.
