Aminu Dabo College of Health Sciences and Technology (AD-COHST) has recorded another landmark achievement with the granting of full accreditation to its Dispensing Optionary program by the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN).
The full four years accreditation is with effect from 22nd November, 2021 to 2024/2025 academic session.
This was contained in a letter signed by the Registrar/CEO of the Board Prof. Ebele Bridget Uzodike communicated to the college’s Provost, Mal Abdullahi Yar’aduwa.
The letter stated that the approval followed a thorough review of the report of the re-accreditation visit of the College where the team found the college met the requirements with status of 70.50% points scored during the exercise.
The Registrar congratulated the Proprietor and the entire Management of the College for achieving the successes, expressing hope that the set quality and standard will be maintained at all times.
It could be recalled that the College had on November 22, 2021 hosted the Board’s Accreditation Team led by Prof Mrs Ebele Bridget Uzodike on a day working visit where facilities, classrooms, library, laboratory, ICT center, equipment and facilities for training of Dispensing Optionary program in the College were inspected and accessed by the team.
While welcoming the guest on behalf of Arc Aminu Dabo, the Registrar of the College Mal Lawaddeen Muqaddas thanked the Board for accepting the request to visit the College to re-examine its Program for continuity training in the institution.
