The Osun State Police Command has confirmed the death of Timothy Adegoke, a master’s degree student of the Obafemii Awolowo University, Ile Ife, who was declared missing on November 7.
According to the spokesperson for the Osun State Police Command, Opalola Olawoyin, six persons have been arrested in connection with the death of the student he, however, did not state how he died or where his body was found.
According to reports, Adegoke had travelled from Abuja to Ife on November 5 to take an examination at the school’s distance learning centre in Moro, Osun State. He was declared missing after his family members could not reach him and he was also not found at the exam venue.
The police also revealed that six persons have been arrested in connection with the death of the student.
