The Katsina State Ministry of Education has announced that all public and private schools in the state would be resuming for the completion of the third term academic session on October 3, 2021. This was contained in a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Ministry, Malam Sani Danjuma, on Monday, September 27.
According to the statement credited to the state’s Commissioner for Education, Dr. Badamasi Lawal, classes would resume on Monday, October 4, for both day and boarding students.
The commissioner called on all schools across the state to strictly observe preventive measures against the COVID-19, particularly the use of hand sanitizers, face masks, and observance of social distancing while assuring parents and students of their adequate safety.
Schools in the state had earlier been scheduled to resume on September 13 but were postponed to enable adjustments to the schools’ timetable in alignment with the academic calendar of other states.
