A recent update on the ongoing JAMB UTME registration for 2023 reveals that about 1.6 million candidates have been registered so far. This was made known by the Registrar of the Board, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede at the end of a joint monitoring exercise with the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Mr David Adejo, in Abuja on Monday.
The total number of registered candidates is expected to be made know after the deadline on February 22nd, 2023.
Oloyede further disclosed that the Direct Entry registration has commenced since on Monday February 20th. The Registrar also stated that the monitoring exercise has helped to discover 15 culprits were trying to defrauding the process, adding that the culprits have been apprehended and were currently detained.
