The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted Kings University, Ode-Omu, Osun State, approval to commence four additional programmes.
Kings University has secured the approval of the National Universities Commission to commence four (4) new academic programmes effective from the 2020/2021 academic session, This followed the successful resource verification visit of the Commission to the University in December 2020.
In a letter signed by the Director, Academic Planning, Dr N.B Saliu on behalf of the NUC Executive Secretary, the approved programmes are as follows:
- Mass Communication
- Criminology and Security Studies
- Entrepreneurship, and
- Cybersecurity
Speaking on the development, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adenike Kuku expressed her delight with the approval granted for all the four programmes presented as it is a demonstration of the University’s expansion drive as well as compliance to the NUC regulatory processes.
