According to the student, the police men barged into their lodges in the early hours of the morning and whisked them away, accusing them of being into cyber crimes and cultism.
The student explained that though no implicating material was found on him or his phone during interrogation, he was locked up and told to write a statement according to the dictates of the officers. He added that they were extorted and eventually released.
The student who said he was billed to write his final exams that same day, said he missed out on the exams and will have to wait another year to take the exams.
