One of the 276 students of Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS), Chibok in Borno state, that were abducted in 2014 by the Boko Haram sect group, has graduated from the American University of Nigeria (AUN).
The student identifies as Mary Katambi, was one of the lucky few who escaped from the sect members and was thereafter, rehabilitated and sponsored by the government academically.
Sharing a photo from the graduation ceremony, former Vice President and founder of the University, Atiku Abubakar, took to his social media platforms to celebrate Mary on her graduation. Atiku also revealed that Mary bagged a degree in Accounting.
