The federal government, through the Federal Ministry of Education, has approved the use of corporate/cape-size hijab by female Muslim students in all the 112 Federal Unity Colleges, and Federal Science and Technical Colleges.
The approval was contained in a circular issued by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Andrew, David Adejo, dated 1st February 2023.
The circular warned that no student should be compelled to use the corporate/cape-size hijab on her uniform.
