An ND1 student of the Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) allegedly committed suicide after her boyfriend broke up with her.
It was gathered that the deceased identified as Deborah, a student in the Department of Marketing recently had an abortion for her boyfriend and decided to end her life after he broke up with her despite terminating the pregnancy as requested.
According to her roommate, she recorded herself drinking a poisonous substance believed to be ‘sniper’ and forwarded the video to the said boyfriend.
