The family of a recent graduate from Abraham Adesanya ICT Polytechnic, Sapade, Ogun State, has accused the Ogun state police of cover-up in the death of the graduate.
The polytechnic graduate, Emmanuel Solarin, was found dead in his room on December 17, 2022, and it was alleged that he committed suicide. His lifeless body was found hanging in his room after which a case was lodged at the Isara police station for investigation.
A sister of the deceased, Yinka, alleged that the Isara Divisional Police Officers refused to make an arrest despite confirming to them that her brother was murdered.
She added that the DPO told the family they did not have the financial resources to pursue the case and the family was forced to bury the corpse without doing an autopsy to discover the real cause of death.
Before his death, Emmanuel owned a computer center at the polytechnic, where he engaged in project writing and printing.
