A group of military men allegedly invaded the University of Benin at about 12 am, February 3, in retaliation for the assault of some of its personnel who had a face-off with students of the institution at an AMT point.
In a series of videos posted online, men in military uniforms can be seen brutalizing students for the attack. Cars parked on the school premises were also vandalized by the soldiers.
This is coming after some UNIBEN students, on Thursday evening, attacked a group of soldiers who tried bypassing a queue to withdraw money from an ATM inside the university campus. Read here
