A Two-Day Orientation Programme for Freshers (100L and Direct Entry/Conversion) has been scheduled according to the Faculties/Colleges listed above for the 2022/2023 academic session.
It is expected that each and every student will participate in this important programme. In addition to this, they are expected to register in advance of the start of the programme on each applicable day.
Dates: 23rd and 24th January 2023
Registration: 8.30am – 9.45am
Take Off: 10.000am prompt
Apart from the matriculation ceremony, this scheduled orientation session is a statutory University event. It functions as a veritable information platform via which freshmen are introduced to some of the university’s major leaders and become acquainted with the university’s vision, mission, core values, and culture.
Various speakers will amplify and interpret the current University’s expectations of studentship during the orientation, ranging from JAMB issues, central registration, fees and financial regulations, exams and records to general students’ welfare and resources, security regulations, sports and recreational privileges.
The University will not tolerate absenteeism. The University will punish any student who does not register for and attend this programme.
