The management of Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has expelled six students of the institution over their involvement in examination malpractices, drug abuse, and other vices.
Their expulsion was announced by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Ibraheem Gbajabiamila, at the institution’s 18th matriculation ceremony held on Saturday, January 14.
He explained that the students were rusticated for failing to abide by the rules and regulations of the university, being the citadel of academic and moral excellence.
Gbajabiamila further admonished the fresh students to say no to cultism, drug abuse, violence, examination malpractice, and other vices.
