Students of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), have cried out over the constant armed robbery attacks they are experiencing at their halls of residence by unknown assailants, with the most recent attack on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
The distressed students said the attacks always left many of them injured and their properties destroyed or carted away.
A student who narrated the ordeal said the armed robbers are always in their numbers, and that they were attacked on Monday, April 17, 2023, and were surprised when they returned for another attack on Wednesday.
They shared a video of a security guard who was injured on Wednesday and was covered in a pool of his own blood just before he was rushed to the hospital. The students are seeking the intervention of the appropriate authorities and disclosed that they no longer sleep at night due to the attacks.
