No fewer than 27 members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Osun State, have received service extensions for various infractions. Also, 20 corps members were said to have absconded during the 2021 Batch C Stream II service year.
The Osun NYSC State Coordinator, Olayinka Abdulwahab made this known during the low-key passing out ceremony held for the 2021 Batch C Stream II on Thursday, Nov. 17, held at the local government secretariats across the State.
Abdulwahab stated a total of 2870 corps members of the 2021 Batch C Stream II successfully completed their one-year mandatory service.
She added that the reports of corps members’ conduct from the various places of assignment in the State prove that the scheme is living up to its name and objectives.
