The Senate of the Adekunle Ajasin University in Ondo state has announced that any student caught dressing indecently, would be suspended for one semester as punishment for the act. The decision was reached during the school’s senate meeting held on August 25, 2021.
The warning was contained in a memo dated, September 7th, and addressed to the entire school management. The memo listed acts of indecent dressing to include wearing skimpy skirts and blouses, leaving the cleavages open by female students, and wearing braids or dreadlocks, earrings, nose rings, tattered jeans, and sagging by some male students.
