Akwa Ibom State Government has declared Thursday, 16th and Friday, 17th June, 2022 as Mid-Term break for all public and private Primary and Secondary Schools in the State.
This is in compliance with the directive of Governor Udom Emmanuel towards ensuring that all private and public Primary and Secondary Schools across the State have a unified academic calendar for school sessions.
A release signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Mrs.Idongesit Etiebet, enjoined parents and guardians to take note and ensure their children and wards observe the holidays. She admonished parents to engage their children in productive ventures to avoid unnecessary loitering on the streets.
The Education Boss wishes all Akwa Ibom Students and pupils a fruitful holiday and advises that they be of good behaviour and to use the period to read and carry out their assignments for better performance.
Academic activities shall resume on Monday, 20th June, 2022 in continuation of the third term of the 2021/2022 academic session.
