The management of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai, Niger State on Tuesday, August 30, directed its staff to pull out of the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
This decision did not sit well with the IBBU chapter leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) who have declared that they will not obey the resumption directives.
Dr, Kudu Dangana, the chapter chairman of ASUU while speaking to a news outlet maintained that the ongoing national industrial action has not been suspended and the letter of extension of the strike had already been given to the university management.
He added that any student that obeys the resumption directives will be wasting his/her money and time or is just going to see the university campus.
