BASUG Post UTME / Direct Entry Screening Announcement
Bauchi State University (BASU) Post UTME Screening for the 2021/2022 session has been announced. BASU Post UTME form, registration, cut-off mark, eligibility application form cost, and screening procedure for 2021/2022 academic session have been announced by the authorities of the university. The required cut-off mark is 140. The application cost is ₦2000.
This is to inform all prospective candidates into Bauchi State University Gadau that the online screening exercise for 2022/2023 admissions has commenced. All prospective candidates into the various programmes of the University who have scored 140 points and above in their 2021 JAMB/UTME should visit the University’s website at www.basug.edu.ng for the screening procedure.
All candidates who are awaiting their O’Level results are to indicate clearly AWAITNG RESULT (AR) in the grades column on the screening form. Candidates are to make available such results once they are released by the Examination bodies during physical screening.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for admission, a candidate must have:
- Scored a minimum of 140 points in the 2021 UTME examination;
- Obtained a minimum of five (5) relevant credits at O’ level (including English and Mathematics);
- Sat for the relevant UTME subject combination in the 2021 JAMB examination;
- Direct Entry (DE) candidates shall in addition to the minimum of five (5) O’ level relevant credits, (including English and Mathematics) must have scored a minimum of 7 points in IJMB or NCE and at least lower credit in ND.
Registration Procedure for BASU Post UTME Screening
Eligible candidates are to create accounts and pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira Only (N2,000.00) for the screening exercise through the online screening portal on https://basug_screened.admissions.cloud

The Bauchi State University which started its first academic session in 2011/2012 was commissioned on 3rd November 2013 by His Excellency the Vice President, Arch. Muhammad Namadi Sambo, GCON.
The Bauchi State University has three campuses as follows:
Gadau Campus: This is the main campus where the University is centrally administered. Two faculties located here are the Faculty of Arts & Education and the Faculty of Science. Bauchi Campus: The Faculty of Social & Management Sciences is situated here. Misau Campus: This houses the Faculty of Law.
