The sale of application forms for admission into the following programmes of the College of Nursing and Midwifery, Katsina will commence as indicated below:
Basic Midwifery
Application Period :- Wed 17/11/2021 – Fri 31/12/2021
Entrance Examination Date: Saturday, 08/01/2022
Community Midwifery
Application Period:- Wed 17/11/2021 – Fri 31/12/2021
Entrance Examination Date- Wednesday, 12/01/2022
Basic Nursing
Application Period:- Wed 17/11/2021 – Fri 04/03/2022
Entrance Examination Date- Saturday, 12/03/2022
Post Basic Nursing
Application Period:- Mon 03/01/2022 – Fri 04/03/2022
Entrance Examination Date- Wednesday 09/03/2022
COST OF FORM
Basic Midwifery, Community Midwifery and Basic Nursing: Two Thousand, Five Hundred Naira N2,500 (excluding bank charges)
Post Basic Nursing: Five Thousand Naira N5,000 (excluding bank charges)
MODE OF PAYMENT AND APPLICATION
Basic Midwifery, Basic Nursing and Post Basic Nursing: ONLINE and only through the College’s website www.conamkat.edu.ng
Community Midwifery: BANK DEPOSIT at any Keystone Bank in Katsina State (College Account Number: 1006379307).
After payment, applicant should present Bank Teller to either Local Government Service Commission or Kasimu Kofar Bai School of Nursing, Katsina or Nana Babajo School of Midwifery, Malumfashi to obtain the application form and letter of identification of residence
All completed application forms should be returned to either Kasimu Kofar Bai School of Nursing, Katsina or Nana Babajo School of Midwifery, Malumfashi.
ELIGIBILITY
Basic Midwifery and Basic Nursing: Must possess at least five (5) credits at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB
Community Midwifery: Must be indigene of Katsina State and possess at least four (4) credits at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language, Biology, and any two (2) of Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB.
Post Basic Nursing: Must be Registered Midwife and possess at least five (5) credits at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB.
