It has come to our notice of an outright falsehood being circulated on social media that the management of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University has increased the rate of Central Bank hostel to One Hundred Thousand Naira (₦100, 000.00).
The rate of all the University owned hostels within the University in Igbariam and Uli campuses remains the same and there is no plan for present or future increment.
Parents and students are therefore advised to disregard the story as it is fictitious, concocted and untrue.
