DELSU Matriculation Ceremony – The management of Delta State University (DELSU) has announced the matriculation ceremony date, time, venue and procedure for the collection of academic gowns for REGULAR & DIPLOMA programmes for the 2021/2022 academic session newly admitted candidates.
This is to inform all the fresh students of Delta State University (DELSU) that the management of the university has announced the matriculation ceremony date, time, venue and procedure for the collection of academic gowns for the 2021/2022 academic session.
DELSU Matriculation Ceremony Schedule, Other Details
DELSU 2021/2022 matriculation ceremony has been scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 2022 , simultaneously in all the Campuses of the University as indicated below:
- ABRAKA CAMPUS:
Time: 9.00 am
Venue: Convocation Arena Behind the Social Sciences Complex, Site III Abraka
Note: Students are to be seated by 8.30 am. - OLEH CAMPUS:
Time : 11:00pm
Venue: 1000 Seating Capacity Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Engineering
Note: Students are to be seated by 10:30 pm
Consequently, all Faculty Officers are requested to visit the Senate Division from Tuesday, March 15, 2022, for the collection of academic gowns for their matriculating students.
Matriculating students should note that all gowns collected MUST be returned in good conditions to the Senate Division not later than Monday, March 21, 2022, failing which, the matriculants would pay a penal fee of Five Hundred Naira (N500) for each day the gown is retained; while a penal fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) would be charged as cost of replacement for any gown not returned or damaged.
Matriculating students should also note that on no account must they rent their gowns to photographers as the University Security operatives have been directed to impound such gowns found with unauthorized persons.
