With a heart full of gladness and gratitude, the Students’ Union wishes to inform the Nigerian Students and general public of the lifting of the ban on Students’ Unionism on campus.
This came to our notice today, 21st of February 2022 in a letter sent to the Union secretariat, approved by the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti on the 109th Statutory Meeting of the Council held on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th December, 2021.
We wish to congratulate all financial members of this great Union and also use this privilege to caution and urge all students to behave themselves as well as to comport themselves at all times towards sustaining peace and progress in our great institution as there will be a stiffer penalty to any form of misdemeanors.
NOTE: Aspirants are to wait for further directives from the APECO regarding the election/ electoral activities, which the electoral calendar will later be disclosed by the APECO, which will later be constituted.
We will also like to use this privilege to appreciate the Governing Council, Management, Directorate of Students Affairs and those who have in one way or the other contributed to this great achievement, you are all appreciated.
