The family of a serving corps member, Olaleye Bukola Olukolade, has been thrown into mourning following her untimely demise in a car accident.
Olukolade who was originally posted to Imo state for the mandatory one-year service was involved in a car accident while traveling to Kwara state following the conclusion of the three weeks orientation course. She was said to have redeployed from Imo to Kwara and was going to report to her new state of assignment before the unfortunate incident.
The accident reportedly occurred on Saturday, April 9 after the driver lost control of the vehicle when they had almost gotten to Ilorin.
The NYSC Director-General, Shuaibu Ibrahim, represented by the Oyo State Coordinator of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) Mrs. Grace Ogbuogebe, on Monday, April 11, during a condolence visit to the family of the corps member described her demise as a great loss not only to the family but also to the NYSC.
