The National University Commission (NUC) has given Fountain University, Osogbo the approval to run three new postgraduates programme effective from the 2021/2022 academic session.
The new programmes are M.Sc. Sociology, PGD Management, and Master of Business Administration (MBA).
The news of the approval was contained in a letter signed by the Director of Academic Planning, Dr. N.B Saliu on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the commission.
While extending the best regard of the executive secretary of the commission, Dr. Saliu noted that the approval followed the satisfactory assessment on the human and material resources available for the establishment of the programmes as conducted by panels of experts from the commission.
Receiving the news, the Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Prof. Amidu Sanni appreciated the professional gesture extended to the university while also pledging the commitment of the school towards making the best use of the opportunity.
Prof. Sanni also commended the University stakeholders, staff, and students of the university for putting all hands on deck for the smooth takeoff of the programmes.
The Vice Chancellor finally called on interested individuals to leverage the newly approved programmes to drink from the fountain of knowledge the citadel of learning is offering.
