Following the completion of Mid-semester Break, Christmas and New Year Public Holidays, Academic Activities in the Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) resumes Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
Based on the 2020/2021 Academic Calendar, completion of First Semester Lectures takes place in Three Weeks from Monday, January 3 to Saturday, 22nd January, 2022. Similarly, First Semester examination for the 2020/2021 Academic Session commences on Monday, 24th January, 2022.
Consequently, Vice Chancellor Prof. BB Shehu calls on the University community to be mindful of resurgent cases of omicron variant of the COVID-19 pandemic. He charged staff and students to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols such as wearing of face mask, regular hand washing and maintaining social distancing.
The Vice Chancellor emphasized that the Management would enforce no face mask, no entry order in the campus, while directing all members of the University community to comply. He enjoined the public to support the policy for safety and safe flow of academic activities in the institution.
