Latest: GOMSU Notice to Students on Fake Hostel Allocation
Authorities of the Gombe State University (GOMSU) wishes to inform the university community that the making rounds on social media on issuance of hostels did not emanate from the management.
The circular has no relation with both school management and students affairs, the students representative council are still working on it. Furthermore students are advised to disregard any information until they hear from the council and whomever made his payment the school will not be liable.
The circular calling for students to pay for hostels has been proved to be fake as it lacks administrative backing from the school management.
Students, both fresh and returning are warned to be extra careful in sending their money into the anonymous MOMO PSB Bank stated in the circular.

This is to inform all UG16, UG17, UG18 and UG19 students of the Gombe State University (GOMSU) that their I.D Cards are ready for collection.
Students MUST come along with their temporary I.D Card and receipt of payment to the security office for collection of the identity cards.

The Gombe State University (GOMSU) has released an important notice to all registration and commencement of lectures for new students. The notice is as follows;
In line with the approved 2022/2023 academic calendar, this is to inform all 100-level students (Fresh students) that all those who have done their online registration should report to their respective departments along with their original credentials for their first-semester course registration, and commencement of lectures from Monday, 20th March 2023.
Meanwhile, all those concerned with the 100-level students’ registration should put adequate arrangements in place to ensure a smooth, hitch-free, seamless registration and commencement of lectures, please.
