A student of the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu, identified as Stanley Ogwo, has been kidnapped by gunmen.
The National Diploma II student who is the son of a Radio presenter with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Godwin Ogwo, was kidnapped on Thursday, April 20, while he was on his way to school from his residence at Emene.
According to his father, his son was abducted in a commercial bus he boarded to school, and gunmen have contacted him, but they are yet to make a demand.
He said;
“They merely asked if we are ready to comply; I was confused and I switched off the phone. We’ve been talking with them and they have said they want money but have yet to name the amount.”
