Igbajo Polytechnic HND Full-Time and ND Daily Part-Time Programmes Admission Form Details

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Igbajo Polytechnic underlisted National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Programmes for the 2022/2023 academic session.

Igbajo Polytechnic, the first community-owned Polytechnic in Nigeria in Boluwaduro Local Government Area, State of Osun, approved and accredited by the NBTE, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its ND DAILY/WEEKEND PART TIME and HND Programmes as indicated below:

Entry Requirements for ND Courses:

The general entry requirement for all the ND programmes at Igbajo Polytechnic requires candidates to have at least five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and any other three relevant subjects at GCE ‘O’ Level, WASC, NECO & NABTEB at not more than two sittings. 

A waiver may be granted to students applying for daily part-time, who have four credit passes with a deficiency in one of the major subjects.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR HND COURSES

1. As in ND Courses
2. ND Certificate of Igbajo Polytechnic or other Government approved Polytechnic, with at least Lower Credit grade.
3. Evidence of one year Industrial Training
4. Candidates are advised to read carefully the admission requirements for their programme of study before completing the application form.
5. Candidates are advised to ensure that they personally and not by proxy fill-in appropriate information and pay special attention to the arrangement of names, examination grades, examination number, examination year and the exact Industrial Training (I.T) date (12 months from the date of ND certification for those with Lower Credit and 24 months from the date of ND certification for those with Pass Grade.
6. Only courses duly accredited by the NBTE would be considered for the admission.
7. Candidates are advised to keep safe their scratch card as any loss will necessitate the purchase of another scratch card.
8. Applicants are advised to provide correct and functional E-Mail address while completing application form on-line.
9. Date of Qualifying Examination will be announced soon.
10. The Institution would not be liable for any erroneous information contained in the filling of forms

NOTE:

• Students with a pass may also be considered after 2 years of industrial training.

• ND Jamb Admission Letter.

• Change of Institution is allowed for ND candidate.

Uploading of Credentials

The application would only be considered completed if you upload the following credentials:

• • Birth Certificate
  • WAEC or NECO Result (if available)
  • ND Result & IT Letter For HND Applicants
  • Letter of Sponsorship by Parents
• Please note that all the documents must be in jpeg, png or PDF and not more than 100kb
• The originals of the uploaded documents shall be sighted during the screening exercise. Remember to come along with them!
• Your application information is maintained on a secure server and remains confidential.

Submission of Forms

SUBMISSION OF FORMS: Completed forms are to be printed out and to be submitted during the screening exercise at a date to be announced later. The completed form must be accompanied with the following documents.

• Photocopies of credentials (3 each).
• Photocopies of birth certificate and/or Sworn affidavit (3 each).
• 4 Passport Photographs.
• Photocopy of the original receipt

Screening Exercise

Igbajo Polytechnic HND screening will hold on a date to be later communicated.

Interested candidates who have not obtained the application form can also apply during the screening period.
