Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic, Lafia, in Nasarawa State, is excited to announce its 2nd Combined Convocation Ceremony. The Governing Council, Management, Academic Board, staff, and students extend a warm invitation to the general public and the graduating students to join in the celebration of academic excellence, featuring a week of engaging events, culminating in the awarding of diplomas, prizes, and conferment of fellowship awards.
The convocation festivities commence on Friday, March 17, 2023, with a special Jummat prayer at 1:30 pm at the Polytechnic’s Central Mosque. On Sunday, March 19, 2023, an interdenominational prayer service takes place at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Ombi I, Lafia, beginning at 8:00 am.
On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, attendees will witness the commissioning of projects at 9:00 am, followed by a pre-convocation lecture and exhibition at 2:00 pm at the School of Environmental Studies Lecture Theatre.
Finally, the main event, the Convocation Ceremony, is scheduled for Wednesday, March 22, 2023, starting at 9:00 am at the Polytechnic’s Open Field. The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State and Visitor to the Polytechnic, His Excellency, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, will be the special guest of honor.
In light of this announcement, students are reminded to resume their academic activities on Monday, March 20, 2023, without fail.
