Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) various undergraduate programmes for the 2022/2023 academic session. Both UTME and Direct Entry candidates are welcome to apply.

JABU first batch admission screening has been scheduled to hold as follows:
DATE : 29th, 30th and 31st August, 2022
VENUE: University Campus, Lagos and Abuja
Candidates are to come along with their credentials.
Interested candidates should follow the instructions available below to apply.

JABU Admission Requirements
Candidates wishing to apply for admission into the University must possess GCE, O/L, SSCE (WAE, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent with minimum credit passes in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics at one or two sittings. Interested candidates who have already applied to JAMB for admission and wish to change their first choice University to Joseph Ayo Babalola University are required to:
- Apply for change of institution through JAMB;
- Obtain Joseph Ayo Babalola university Application Form;
- Participate in the screening exercise.
“Awaiting result” candidates can also apply provided their results will be available by September of the year in which admission is required. Specific College/Departmental requirements are as indicated below.
Admission Requirements – Direct Entry Candidates.
- 5 relevant credit passes at WASC (SSCE), NECO or equivalent subjects listed under each programme, two of which must be at ‘A’ Level.
- OND with upper Credit or NCE at Credit level in any institution recognized by the University.
- Joseph Ayo Babalola University Diploma.
- Diploma from any other recognized Universities.
1. COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES
- B. Agric. With option in:
- Agricultural Economics and Extension Services
- Animal Science and Production
- Crop Science and Production
- Soil Science and Management
- B.Sc. Food Science and Technology
College Admission Requirements:
- Five ‘O’ Level credit passes at SSCE, NECO or equivalent to include English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, and Economics. A pass in Physics is acceptable.
2. COLLEGE OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES
- B. Arc. Architecture
- B.Sc. Estate Management
College Admission Requirements:
- For Architecture, Estate Management, Building and Quantity Surveying: 5 credit passes at SSCE, NECO or equivalent in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one of the following: Geography, Fine Art, Economics, Technical Drawing, Building Construction, Biology and Agric Science.
- For Urban and Regional Planning, and Geography: 5 Credit passes at SSCE, NECO or equivalent in English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any other two subjects.
3. COLLEGE OF HUMANITIES
- B.A English
- B.A History and International Studies
- B.A Philosophy and Religious Studies
College Admission Requirements:
- Five ‘O’ Level credit passes at SSCE, NECO or equivalent in English Language and four other Arts and Social Science subjects.
- For B.A. English, the other four subjects must include literature in English.
- For B.A. History and International Studies, the four subjects must include Government or History.
4. COLLEGE OF NATURAL SCIENCES
- B.Sc. Biochemistry
- B.Sc. Computer Science
- B.Sc. Microbiology
- B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry
- B.Sc. Physics Electronics
College Admission Requirements:
- For B. Sc. Biochemistry, five ‘O’ Level credit passes at SSCE or equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
- For B.Sc. Microbiology, Agricultural Science is acceptable in lieu of Biology.
- For B.Sc. Computer Science: five ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any of Chemistry, Biology, Economics, and Geography.
- For B.Sc. Physics Electronics, as in Computer Science.
5. COLLEGE OF SOCIAL SCIENCES
- B.Sc. Economics
- B.Sc. International Relations
- B.Sc. Mass Communication
- B.Sc. Political Science
College Admission Requirements:
- For B.Sc. Economics: candidates must possess 5 ‘O’ Level credit in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two Arts or Social Science subjects.
- For B.Sc. Political Science: 5 ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Government/History, and any other 3 subjects at least, a pass in Mathematics is required.
- For B.Sc. Mass Communication, the 5 ‘O’ Level credit passes must include English Language and Literature in English. At least, a pass in Mathematics is required.
6. COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES
- B.Sc. Accounting
- B.Sc. Business Administration
- B.Sc. Entrepreneurship
- B.Sc. Industrial Relation and Human Resources Management
- B.Sc. Insurance
College Admission Requirements:
- For B.Sc. Business Administration, insurance, Entrepreneurship and Accounting candidates must possess 5 ‘O’ Level credit in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two Arts or Social Science subjects.
- For B.Sc. Industrial Relation and Human Resources Management, 5 ‘O’ Level credit passes must include Mathematics and English Language.

How to Apply for JABU Post UTME Form
- Create a student account by completing the form with your personal details and hitting the “Create Account” tab on completion. Please note that you will need a valid email address to activate your account.
- Activate your student account by checking your email inbox and clicking on the link in your email.
- Log in to the e-portal with your student login details.
- Complete your bio-data and upload all required documents. Please, note that all required documents are to be uploaded in JPEG format.
- Check your email account for a response from the admission officer for further instructions on the screening date.
