The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has launched a portal through which prospective members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) can determine whether or not their admissions are being recognised by JAMB. Your application to the NYSC would be declined if your name is not found on the JAMB matriculation list.
The Joint Admissions Matriculation Board, also known as JAMB, has introduced a platform that allows undergraduates from various institutions can check whether or not their admissions are recognised by JAMB.
It is vital that you verify your name on the matriculation list. Only those whose names appear on this list are recognised as genuine students from the various accredited institutions.

By implication, if your name is not on this list, your application to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme for the one-year National service shall be declined.

How to Check JAMB Matriculation List
Follow the procedure outlined below to check your JAMB matriculation status.
- Go to the matriculation list portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckMatriculationList.
- Select your examination year.
- Enter your JAMB Registration number where required.
- Finally, click on ‘Fetch My Details‘.
You will receive one of the five (5) under-listed messages as you check your status on the JAMB Matriculation List:
- Congratulations
- Kindly print JAMB admission letter
- Kindly print JAMB result slip
- Kindly print JAMB admission letter and result slip
- You are not given admission yet.
NOTE:
- For students that got “congratulations…” as a prompt message, you have been confirmed by JAMB. hence you will be mobilised for NYSC for the graduates
- For students that got “kindly print JAMB admission letter” as prompt message, you are to visit a cyber cafë outlet to print out your admission letter immediately.
- For students that got “kindly print JAMB result slip” as a prompt message, you are to visit a cyber café outlet to print out your result slip immediately. This message is usually applicable to Direct Entry Students.
- For students that got kindly print the JAMB admission letter and result slip” as a prompt message. you are to visit a Cyber café Outlet to print out the JAMB admission letter and result slip” immediately.
- For students that got You have not been given admission yet,” a prompt message should immediately proceed for regularisation of admissions. A form will be generated online, which should be submitted to the Admission Office for further processing, after which you will receive the message via email from JAMB. The message will direct you to print out your JAMB admission letter.
