JAMB has disclosed that about 1,837,011 candidates have been registered in the ongoing UTME/DE registration as of March 26th, 2022. This was contained in the weekly bulletin of the board. Prospective candidates are to note that the registration for 2022 UTME has ended on March 26th, 2022.

The number of registered candidates this year shows an increase when compared to the total of 1,338,687 candidates registered for the last year. Remember, however, that the board registered about 2.1 million candidates in 2020 (pre NIN and Covid era).
It was gathered that a good number of candidates who were willing to register for the exam were unable to do so before the deadline due to various issues. The board had earlier announced that there will not be any extension due to the fact that the board is working within the strict timeline allocated for the exam.
The UTME mock exam, which is the major event on the JAMB schedule is expected to hold on 9th April, 2022. To start your preparations for the mock, visit the SchoolGist classroom right now at this link; https://redir.schoolgist.com.ng/?classroom=/exam
