A 15-year-old Senior Secondary School student of Gobarau Academy, Katsina, named Amina Abdullahi, has been awarded an automatic scholarship by Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina state for her exceptional talent in art paintings.
The teenager caught the attention of governor Masari at a public art exhibition on Sunday, July 11 in Katsina. The governor pledged that the state would be responsible for Amina’s tertiary education in addition to offsetting her WAEC, NECO, and JAMB fees.
The governor hailed the organizers for their efforts in discovering incredible talents such as Amina, saying they needed to be encouraged to achieve their full potentials.
