Kogi State University has come under fire after it was reported that the state-owned institution awarded N2,000 as a prize to the best graduating students during its recent convocation ceremony.
According to reports, the school awarded the N2,000 cash prizes to students who bagged first class at their respective departments, while the sum of N5,000 was given to the overall best graduating student of the institution.
